About DJ Em Bass
Birth of a DJ
Growing up, I was always involved in music. From singing in choir, to playing piano and drums, to taking a bunch of music and mushing it together on a tape.
In 2003, I became part of an online community of DJ's and music producers. We would play sets for each other, and others that would come by to listen. Back then, we were just creating playlists and beat matching them as best we could with WinAmp and a few plugins.
A few years later, I got my first controller and a copy of Traktor Pro. Everything changed.
Special Events
You can find me at many community events as I find it essential to give back to my community as much as possible. Whenever I am asked to perform for a community event my heart sores and I pour that into the energy of the music I play.
Some events I have recently played at are,Inclusion Festival Silent Disco 2025, Sonoma County Pride Transgender Rights Rally 2025, Petaluma Pride 2025, Lagunitas Drag Brunch 2026, and more.
